EIFEL AREA PHOTOGRAPHER
KALL, EIFEL, NRW, GERMANY
I was born in Sistig, Kreis Euskirchen, NRW, Eifel Area, Germany and have been a friend of Bernhard since 1980. His involvement in photography inspired me to also pursue this as a hobby and for my personal enjoyment. I joined a Facebook group for “Eifel Area Photography” where I became a continued supplier of Eifel images on the Internet.
The Eifel Area consists of a low mountain range with lots of smaller volcanos that are now covered by lakes and wide spread forests in western Germany and eastern Belgium. It occupies parts of southwestern North Rhine-Westphalia, northwestern Rhineland-Palatinate and the south of the German-speaking Community of Belgium.
The Eifel forms a triangle between the former Roman cities of AACHEN, formerly known as Aix-La-Chappelle, a Roman bath and city where emperor Charlemagne was crowned in the famous cathedral; TRIER, formerly known as Augusta Treverorum, with a Roman arms factory and the well-known Porta Nigra (Black Gate); as well as COLOGNE, formerly known as Colonia Claudia Ara Agrippinensium, with its famous cathedral and the Rhine river.
The Eifel Area has numerous Roman buildings and therefore, I take historical photographs of all kinds of Roman architecture and ruins as well as Roman aqueducts and streets that go through the Eifel and are very apparent in this area.
My interest in history and love for the Eifel region leads me to capture nature’s colors and moments in time, especially seen in sunrise and sunsets as well as the changes of leaves in the fall. I am out and about to capture the Eifel landscape as well as the blooming of plants.
In addition, I am very exited to do a Photography documentation about Luxembourg, officially the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg , is a landlocked country in western Europe. It is bordered by Belgium to the west and north, Germany to the east, and France to the south. It comprises two principal regions: the Oesling in the north as part of the Ardennes massif, and the Gutland (“good country”) in the south. With an area of 2,586 square kilometres (998 sq mi), it is one of the smallest sovereign states in Europe. Luxembourg had a population of 524,853 in October 2012, ranking it the 8th least-populous country in Europe.
I am not only enjoying taken photos but also trying to edit some of my photos, as you can see in Special Effects, using photography editing software, like Photo Studio, S Photo Editor, Name Art Photo Editor, PIP Fotos 2018, Photo Director, Screenshots, and Collagen.
